ABOUT US

We are a full service sewing studio.  We are dedicated to enhancing your inner self confidence and good looks through impeccably tailored garments.  We repair garments, replace zippers, alter evening wear and work attire, down size garment, design and sew prototypes, and design and sew custom garments.  We also offer custom embroidery and custom T shirt designs.

Debra Inhoff

Debra began her business in 1999, because of her love of sewing and passion for extreme fit and fashion.  Her well-rounded and diverse training education includes a dressmaking certificate from Harcourt College, studying flat pattern making at the Baum School of Art, and bridal and special occasion wear courses completed at the Arts and Fashion Institute in Reigelsville, PA.  Debra has studied under Linda McGee, Inlander, and Claire Shaeffer.  She has additional training through private lessons and mentoring from Pamela Ptak, Season 6 Project Runway contestant and owner of Ptak Couture.

Through her work, she has had the opportunity to empower other talented designers as a mentor and internship preceptor.  Debra has trained 5 design students who have gone on to work as a jewelery designer, a fashion forcaster in New York, a sample maker in California and an designer in India.  She has contacts through her students and protege's that allow her to work with international fabric companies.  Debra has exceptional personnel in New York and India who hand-pick and dye her fabrics  She has custom pickers in New York and India who help pick and ship fabrics for her custom garments.

 

It is this exceptional fit which empowers men and woman to feel more confident in themselves.  Debra's passion and education has allowed her to develop a unique flare of fashion for her clients.  Her custom garments range from christening gowns to bridal gowns to professional wear.  Her expertise also includes household  products like drapes, throw pillow and reupholstering.  She also does exceptional artwork on T shirts ranging from company logos, soccer shirts, to custom designs.

Aaron Zarychta

Aaron Zarychta is the Assistant Manager and Design Specialist for DBI Stitches. He earned his Masters of Arts in Fashion, Body, and Garment from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and his Bachelors of Fine Arts in Animation from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. At both institutions he earned leadership and scholarship awards for his excellence in the field of Art. His education affords him the ability to think both technically and conceptually about garment construction.

While in the studio, Aaron works on designing, pattern making, fabric cutting, and constructing of custom-made garments, major and minor alterations, and apparel restoration of garments and footwear. In addition, he works on large-format, non-garment prototypes. Aaron draws and designs custom logos for Debbie's T-shirt printing division of DBI Stitches. His designs have been used for local sports and exercise businesses, construction companies, and Debbie's personal business logo.

In addition to his background in fashion Aaron has a wide range of knowledge in a variety of other mediums, helping to facilitate his conceptual understanding of garment construction. He is developing his own custom-designed fabric. He creates graphite renderings of engagement pictures. Presently Aaron is painting and constructing a three-dimensional work of art to be prominently featured at a local business. He is also currently creating artwork that ranges from sculpture to three-dimensional fiber art for an upcoming art exhibition. In addition, Aaron also helps Debbie teach at the Home Sewing Center.
